Boersema and Yourtech reliable partners 

Boersema in Huizen has had experience in the handling and storage of dry goods since 1977. They make loading bellows and supply all types of loading rods of various materials in different designs. Boersema tries to take care of the organization and supervision of projects for the customer. For this purpose Boersema has several partners. For years Boersema and Yourtech have been partners when it comes to technical services, maintenance or moving machines.

The history of Boersema

The company was founded in 1977 by engineer J. Boersema. After finishing Higher Technical School, he soon discovered at his then employer that he could find much better, customer-oriented solutions himself. The kitchen table became a drawing board and Boersema designed one effective solution after another for the internal storage and transshipment of dry goods. Boersema grew into a company with its own mechanics and a network of dozens of suppliers.

We can do that better ourselves

Jacqueline Boersema, the current director, followed closely the developments in the parental home with attached office from the age of fourteen. She appeared to possess the same qualities as her father. On a visit to the external sewing workshop where the bellows designed by Boersema were produced, she too drew the conclusion 'we can do that better ourselves'.

With success, the loading bellows were henceforth produced in-house with shorter delivery times. With very satisfied customers buying products and components from Boersema to this day!

Technical Draftsman

Jacqueline Boersema grew with the company, after her training as a technical draughtsman she went with the mechanics to the installation and maintenance work: 'as a woman I had the advantage that I was actually welcome everywhere when maintenance had to be done, in those years I built up good relationships with companies that are still customers'.

Her father quit the business in 2008. After a short hiatus, Jacqueline decided to give the company a fresh start at her own discretion. Of course, she still likes to call on her father, who then passionately takes his place behind the drawing table to come up with creative solutions. Precisely because we both make the drawings and assemble the products ourselves, we can immediately make improvements during the process.

New location

In July 2011, Boersema moved into new premises on the Ambachtsweg In Huizen, "when I step out my door I can sail away with my boat in no time but also be back quickly for the customer.
